"KBS did a complete makeover of our 40-year old kitchen..."

KBS did a complete makeover of our 40-year old kitchen, from the studs up. We wanted a colorful and cozy 70s style design, but we did not quite know what combination of colors and materials would work for us. Elizabeth did a lot of research, and helped us in developing a warm but bold concept that we absolutely love. Part of the project was to re-tile some of the existing floor, and KBS found tile that matched exactly the 10+ year old flooring that we had.

Alberto and Elizabeth were very supportive and responsive when there were changes in the project, be it related to design or to things that came up during demolition. We appreciated their flexibility and support when it came to supplying some of our own materials (such as the cabinets). Their priority clearly was to build the kitchen we wanted.

Alberto and his staff did an amazing job with bringing everything together in this big project. Especially the custom wooden shelves they made for us, Alberto’s custom countertops and the fantastic tiling work make this kitchen a special and unique place for us.
